Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Women, Peace, & Security Trainer and Curriculum Developer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in defense missions to tackle complex challenges and contribute to our mission of enhancing security through education and training.

Your Role:

As a key member of our team, you will utilize your consulting and analytical skills to develop, implement, and assess training programs focused on Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough research and analysis to inform curriculum development.
  • Leading stakeholder interviews to gather insights and feedback.
  • Designing and delivering training sessions for Department of Defense personnel.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with the U.S. Army or similar organizations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in curriculum design and instructional methodologies.
  • Experience in WPS training at both tactical and operational levels.
  • Strong public speaking skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to travel as needed for training and collaboration.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Security, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following will enhance your application:

  • Experience working with international partners on WPS initiatives.
  • Knowledge of best practices in Knowledge Management.
  • Ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data effectively.
