Radiation Therapy Department Manager

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapy Team Leader to join our team at MaineHealth.
About the Role:
- Direct supervision of staff radiation therapists and administrative staff.
- Performing the complete range of radiation therapy procedures and tasks, as well as operating all specialized equipment in the Department of Radiation Oncology.
- Direction and coordination of work flow, evaluation and management of staff radiation therapists and administrative staff, and overall facility oversight.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of a 2-year accredited program in Radiation Therapy and registration through A.R.R.T. or Licensure by the State of Maine.
- License/Certifications: See 'Education' section.
- Experience: Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- 5 years' experience in a comparable radiation therapy department.
About You:
- Comprehensive knowledge of physics, anatomy and physiology, techniques, procedures and equipment involved with radiation therapy.
- Analytical ability to organize work flow and make appropriate suggestions for improvements.
- Interpersonal skills to direct the work of others and provide instruction to technical staff.
- Able to create a safe, caring environment for patients and their families.
