Salary: $1,180 - $1,272 per week for a 12-week contract with possibility of extension.
Job Description: As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with Supplemental Health Care, you will play a vital role in providing treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines at a skilled nursing facility in Scarborough, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and experience while contributing to the well-being of patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing physical therapy services to patients as directed by licensed therapists
- Assisting with patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting outcomes to management
Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in Maine, an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies from an accredited school, and a passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE). Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals are essential.
