About the Position

MaineHealth Neurosurgery & Spine, a leading spine and neurosurgical practice in Maine, is seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join their well-established outpatient multispecialty Spine Center in Scarborough.

The ideal candidate will enhance our comprehensive model of care by offering Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) as an adjunctive treatment to non-surgical spinal conditions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced physiatrists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, and anesthesiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultations and ongoing management of spine conditions and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting salary of $290,000, with additional productivity-based earning opportunities. The benefits include a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME expense reimbursement, malpractice insurance, and a comprehensive health insurance plan. Additionally, you will have access to 4-6 weeks of paid time off, retirement options with employer contributions, life/disability coverage, and more.
