Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter and update data in company databases, spreadsheets, and warehouse management software, ensuring data integrity.
  • File Organization: Organize and maintain both paper and electronic files, ensuring that records are orderly and accessible.
  • Data Verification: Review and verify data to ensure accuracy, comparing entries with source documents and correcting errors as needed.
  • Invoicing Support: Assist with monthly invoicing processes by gathering and validating necessary data.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all company and safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required by the department.

Requirements:

  • Data Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data entry.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and comfortable learning new software, including warehouse management systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organization, able to maintain both physical and digital records efficiently.
  • Time Management: Effective in prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Clear and concise communicator, able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle a dynamic workload and adapt to changes in processes or systems.
  • Experience: Prior experience in data entry or related administrative roles is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping, receiving, or the trucking industry is desirable but not required.
  • Language: Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but is not required.
