Office Coordinator, Shop Administrator Job Description

Ascendo Resources is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Coordinator, Shop Administrator to support our team in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, family-owned business and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating projects from inception to completion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and district teams.
  • Work closely with the Lead Estimator on estimating for large DOT projects, including analyzing complex projects to help with pricing.
  • Track the progress of ongoing work and prime jobs.
  • Set up new purchase orders and verify quantities with districts and contractors monthly.
  • Assist in setting up crew schedules and plans for the week/day.
  • Create work orders and update the Reflectivity Spreadsheet.
  • Cost work orders that come into operation after each shift for PMs.
  • Assist in scheduling for PMs and monitor project progress and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process.
