Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to provide first-line technical sales support to our Reference Materials and Analytical Standards product lines. The successful candidate will interact with our Sales Manager, Account Managers, and pooled quoting specialists to achieve annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional technical sales support to customers, responding to sales inquiries and offering expert engagement with our product portfolio.
- Identify and close new prospect opportunities generated from prospecting and qualification of marketing-provided and self-generated leads.
- Collaborate with our sales resources to drive impactful customer experience and achieve quota set for a given geography.
- Work closely with marketing to launch new products and with our core end-market team to identify competitor activity and trends.
- Manage and maintain service levels to key customers in their territories.
- Promote our Webshop to all customers and advocate for LGC manufactured products in 3rd party quotation requests.
- Scientific background and formal qualification in a relevant sector.
- Excellent sales capability and mindset, with ability to cold call customers and use application products to generate leads and increase sales.
- 2+ years of laboratory experience in chemistry.
- Experience using relevant systems and tools, including CRM, ERP, Microsoft Office suite, and supply chain process management tools.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and relate to all levels of the business.
- Customer-focused with exceptional communication skills in English, with additional languages a plus.
