  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, operations, and the creative team to evolve creative processes, manage design systems, and maintain consistency and quality.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and impact.
  • Client Communication: Work closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure its successful translation by the design team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Leverage a strong, strategic point of view to provide clear direction and promote conceptual thinking.
  • Presentation Skills: Lead effective client presentations that create excitement and demonstrate how the creative delivers on the strategy.
  • User-Centered Design: Demonstrate a solid understanding and application of user-centered design principles.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate in teams composed of designers, developers, copywriters, and other creative partners.
  • Creative Feedback: Provide creative feedback and critique as part of team and client reviews.
  • Account Management: Partner with the account team to develop innovative solutions to our clients' needs.
  • Time Management: Meet all scheduled deadlines.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and creative technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in art direction or a similar role in an agency/firm.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio that includes direct mail, light campaign designs or concepts, brochure, social media posts, website design.
  • Technical Skills: Front-end web design principles are required, HTML skills are a plus.
  • Creative Skills: An uncanny ability to translate business goals into compelling designs.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Experience sharing strategy, principles, and best practices behind design choices.
  • Design Tools: Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Microsoft Suite, Miro, and other design/video/collaboration tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptionally organized, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Brand Management: Experience working with and enforcing brand standards.
  • Project Management: Experience managing creative projects with clients and/or stakeholders.
