CropLife America is seeking a highly skilled Manager to lead our Communications, Science Policy and Regulatory Affairs efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to effectively represent our organization's interests in science and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communication plans to promote our science policy and regulatory work.
  • Craft compelling content, including press releases, policy briefs, and fact sheets, to engage stakeholders and promote our organization's messaging.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, regulatory bodies, and scientific organizations.
  • Cultivate relationships with CropLife America members and support the goals of the Science and Regulatory Policy team.
  • Align communication efforts with our organization's overall strategic goals and policy positions.
  • Develop campaigns to raise the profile of our key science policy and regulatory work.
  • Promote workshops, webinars, and special events held by the Science Policy and Regulatory Affairs team.
  • Use new technologies to share information and promote our science policy and regulatory work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project management.
  • Proven experience with technical communications.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and software, including social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to work with graphic design tools to create high-quality products.
  • Experience supporting meetings and events from a communications standpoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and creativity.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
