Job Summary:

SNC Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legislative Affairs Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a key member of our Legislative Affairs team, you will play a critical role in advancing corporate and business area priorities through effective lobbying and advocacy efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive legislative campaign plans to advance SNC's business objectives
  • Monitor and analyze congressional activity, including hearings, markups, and floor votes
  • Draft and submit congressional white papers and other correspondence
  • Build and maintain relationships with Members of Congress and congressional staff
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to SNC's business areas on legislative and regulatory matters
  • Assist with the development and implementation of SNC's Political Action Committee (PAC) strategy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in legislative affairs, with a strong background in lobbying and advocacy
  • Proven track record of delivering results through effective lobbying and advocacy efforts
  • Strong knowledge of the congressional appropriations and authorization process
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field of study
  • Advanced knowledge of the congressional appropriations and authorization process
  • Experience working on international business and foreign affairs
  • Background in the aerospace and defense industry
