Sales Culture and Promotions

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our selling team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales to consistently achieve store sales goals by personally selling La-Z-Boy furniture and accessories. You will also work closely with the Store Manager, Designer, and selling team to promote our In-Home Design Sales program and drive store sales.

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of La-Z-Boy products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Utilize exceptional customer service skills to build long-term relationships with customers and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the selling team to create an engaging and informative customer experience.
People Development

  • Training and coaching the selling team on product knowledge and selling skills to achieve store sales goals.
  • Creating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Fostering open communication and feedback among team members to drive success.
Store Standards / Operations

You will be responsible for maintaining store standards and operations, including:

  • Effective Manager on Duty (MOD) procedures.
  • Championing and role modeling the La-Z-Boy selling process.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of order information, collection of deposits and fees, and maintenance of customer records.
Customer Experience Excellence

  • Setting the highest standard for customer care and ensuring each La-Z-Boy customer has an informative and positive experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $10,400-$26,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package, including uncapped commissions on written sales and a monthly bonus based on performance.
