Position Overview
The Inventory Planner will be responsible for shaping and enhancing the inventory strategy for medmix in the United States. This role emphasizes both medium-term and long-term planning perspectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine inventory strategies tailored for medmix US.
- Concentrate on both medium-term and long-term planning horizons.
- Assess and enhance planning outcomes over the medium to long term.
- Oversee and optimize the complete planning workflow.
- Engage with various stages of the supply chain.
- Evaluate and analyze the entire logistics chain.
- Establish and define MRP strategies and parameters.
- Select suitable forecasting techniques.
- Serve as a liaison among diverse stakeholders.
- Facilitate daily integration through internal and external channels.
- Conduct regular reconciliation sessions utilizing both internal and external interfaces.
- Assist in daily operational planning tasks.
- Address changes and daily challenges promptly.
- Manage missing parts effectively.
- Monitor and analyze output and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Implement MRP controlling measures.
- Process daily and weekly performance results.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years in Buyer or Inventory Planning roles.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Additional Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, essential for collaboration with various departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP is mandatory.
- Ability to quickly learn software applications such as Qlikview and QlikSense.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must exhibit energy and self-motivation.
