Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Business Operations Representative to join our team at the University of Miami. This full-time position will be responsible for facilitating the prompt resolution of problems related to pre and post care in daily clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient expectations surrounding pre and post care
  • Obtain and review patient demographic information, insurance details, and referral numbers
  • Review clinical records for completeness, including authorization, signatures, and missing data
  • Answer multiple telephones, triage calls, and document messages in the appropriate software
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting visitors and callers, and directing them to the appropriate employee
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to solve problems and enhance the smooth operation of the practice
  • Provide coverage for responsibilities of co-workers as needed
  • Develop and promote effective communication methods with physicians, managers, peers, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures, safeguarding University assets
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a medical office setting, preferably with EPIC
  • Bilingual skills a plus
