Guest Services Agent Opportunity at Jay Peak Resort

We're seeking a skilled and friendly Guest Services Agent to join our team at Jay Peak Resort. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet and greet customers, explaining programs and rates associated with day guest and lodging guest admissions, reservations, and season passes.
Process and issue tickets or passes, upselling whenever possible.
Provide general information about goods and services available on and off property, events, and more.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Lift Ticket Sales Duties:
Explain RFID technology and best practices for taking care of the media.
Issue "Snow Checks" when authorized, following standard issuance protocol.
Miscellaneous Duties:
Greet guests with a professional demeanor and answer questions accurately.
Explain ticket types to customers, sell appropriate group or individual tickets, and receive cash or process credit card transactions.
Explain season pass types to customers, sell appropriate season passes, accept payment, and process passes, including taking photo identification.
Work with guests to optimize their visit with additional products and services as needed.
Orient guests by explaining where they can find goods and services on and off property.
Remain current with scheduled on-site events and direct customers to the correct locations, explaining any costs involved.
Perform registrations or make reservations for some events.
Receive telephone calls and provide a variety of information, including weather updates and directions to Jay Peak.
Talk with concerned guests to discern their needs, provide proper resolution, and/or locate the appropriate manager.
Troubleshoot various problems guests may encounter, including lost personal belongings or missing persons.
During low business periods, approach guests to ensure all needs are being met.
Perform general cashiering duties and stay up-to-date on processing coupons, discounts, and more.
Prepare cash ups at the end of the day and submit necessary paperwork.
