Job Overview

Jay Peak Resort is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take food and drink orders and accurately enter them into our Point of Sale system.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our menu, including food, beer, wine, and alcohol options, and make recommendations to guests.
  • Prepare and present food and beverage specials, and maintain a high level of knowledge about our daily offerings.
  • Ensure that guests receive their orders in a timely and accurate manner, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Process payments and handle customer transactions efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining room and service areas.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems and basic math skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
