Role Overview:
As an Aviation Maintenance Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing comprehensive proposals for our Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to present to clients. Your expertise will be vital in compiling labor hours, material estimates, and service requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed inspection and service estimates, providing accurate base cost assessments for all maintenance-related projects.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure alignment on project specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate with vendors to enhance relationships and optimize product offerings.
- Continuously improve product development processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all estimates and proposals are meticulously documented and maintained within our systems.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in aircraft airframe maintenance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for articulating technical work scopes.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in utilizing MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and certification requirements.
