Aircraft Maintenance Technician Job Description

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of work scope tasks assigned to you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks with efficiency and to quality standards, utilizing applicable technical data relative to work performed.
  • Ensure a professional manner and appearance in daily contact with customers, guests, and co-workers.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual.
  • Perform at maximum efficiency by effective use of available resources.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, particularly CFR parts 43, 91, and 145.
  • Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms in accordance with methods of execution outlined in the RSM/QCM.
  • Support Aircraft Crew Chief with shift turnover requirements as outlined in the RSM/QCM.
  • Collaborate with Customer Project Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget objectives of the work scope.
  • Perform daily activities to provide services and deliverables to the customer that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices using a 5S system.
  • Focus on Human Factors in the workplace and drive to zero defects in workmanship and safety.
  • Observe and administer company rules and regulations and safety policy and standard operating procedures.
  • Support the corporate mission and vision through achievement of department goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating.
  • Minimum three years' experience in business jet maintenance environment, preferably on Falcon aircraft.
  • APU Operation qualified.
  • Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning solvents.
  • Work and bend in a confined workspace.
  • Must have manual dexterity required for technician.
  • Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced using computers and aircraft software.
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (Desired).
  • Successful completion of at least one Falcon Initial Maintenance School (Desired).
  • Engine Run & Taxi qualified on business jet aircraft, preferably on Falcon aircraft (Desired).
