Job Title: Aircraft Crew Chief - Weekend Shift

We are seeking a highly experienced Aircraft Crew Chief to join our team at Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, Florida. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the efficient execution of aircraft maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient execution of aircraft maintenance and repairs.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance to plan, ensuring all work is completed within schedule and estimated labor and material costs.
  • Oversee the daily activities of assigned work crews, taking necessary action to ensure all work is completed to quality standards and airworthiness.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Projects Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget objectives.
  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms are completed in accordance with methods of execution outlined in the RSM/QCM.
  • Provide for shift turnover requirements and establish assignments to relieve crews.
  • Collaborate with the QA Inspector to achieve aircraft approval for return to service.
  • Drive daily activities toward providing services and deliverables to the customer that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Ensure crews maintain good housekeeping practices and adhere to safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience with Falcon models.
  • APU & Engine Run certification qualified on at least one Falcon aircraft model.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in an aviation maintenance environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • FAA Inspection Authorization.
  • Associate degree in an Aviation field.
