Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Dassault Aviation in Melbourne, Florida. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and/or electronic systems on all models of Falcon Jet corporate aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a professional appearance and demeanor in interactions with customers, guests, and coworkers.
  • Perform tasks with efficiency and quality standards, utilizing technical data relative to work performed.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with Quality Control systems and procedures.
  • Work effectively with available resources to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, particularly CFR parts 43, 91, and 145.
  • Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms according to outlined methods.
  • Support Aircraft Crew Chief with shift turnover requirements.
  • Collaborate with Customer Project Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget objectives.
  • Provide services and deliverables that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices using a 5S system.
  • Focus on Human Factors in the workplace and drive to zero defects in workmanship and safety.
  • Observe and administer company rules, regulations, and safety policy.
  • Support the corporate mission and vision through achievement of department goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating.
  • Minimum three years' experience in business jet maintenance environment, preferably on Falcon aircraft.
  • APU Operation qualified.
  • Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Not allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning solvents.
  • Ability to work and bend in a confined workspace.
  • Manual dexterity required for technician.
  • Ability to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced using computers and aircraft software.
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (desired).
  • Successful completion of at least one Falcon Initial Maintenance School (desired).
  • Engine Run & Taxi qualified on business jet aircraft, preferably on Falcon aircraft (desired).
