Job Summary

The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for overseeing the development, negotiation, and maintenance of all contracts and trade confirmations between the Firm and its counterparties within its region.

Main Responsibilities

Key Activities:

  • Issuing standardized outbound contracts, per terms of the trade, for signature and posting
  • Verifying incoming and outgoing contracts for errors and open clauses
  • Liaising with matrix operations to ensure contract reflects the obligations of the deal
  • Obtaining trader confirmation/details of contract where necessary

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years+ of trading contracts/confirmations experience at a competitive energy commodities trading Firm
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new concepts and ideas
  • Language skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese recommended given the Firm's extensive LatAm trade dealings
  • Be curious, creative, and up for a challenge; demonstrate ability to follow-through and earn trust of others
  • Effectively communicate with other departments and external counterparties
  • Work effectively within a team environment
