Job Overview

As a Contract Administration Specialist at Aramco Services Company, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the procurement of services contracts. Your responsibilities will include drafting, pre-qualifying contractors, conducting competitive bidding or negotiations, and finalizing contracts. You will also be responsible for contract administration, orders, amendments, invoice processing, claims, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop contracting plans, identify contract or contract amendment requirements, and propose procurement methods.
  • Coordinate with Contract Proponents to develop required documents, participate in job explanation meetings, and evaluate proposals.
  • Handle contract administration duties, ensure adherence to agreed terms, and report on contract status and utilization.
  • Issue Release Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Change Orders, and Work Element Releases.
  • Monitor and update records on vendor performance, support disputes and claims handling, and implement lessons learned.
  • Advise Contract Proponents on contract deviations and assist with contract demand planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement, or a closely related field.
  • Developed skills in planning and negotiating.
  • Ability to analyze factors and make sound recommendations and decisions.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with business software applications, with experience in SAP Ariba and SAP R/3 or R/4 Hana advantageous.
  • At least three years of general experience in contract management and administration.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate accurately, clearly, and concisely in English.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office environment.
  • Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive duties, use standard office equipment, and talk and hear.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus needed.
  • Occasionally required to lift, move, and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Travels approximately 0-5% of time outside of normal work locations in the US and occasionally internationally.
