Job Summary

As a Senior Facilities Contracts Coordinator, you will play a key role in directing the fulfillment of contract and purchasing requirements for operational and construction services. This position involves acting as a team lead, training new staff, and representing the Contract and Purchasing Operations leadership as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the preparation of operational and construction contracts, including drafting required documentation and ensuring proper funding is in place.
  2. Research and ensure compliance with state procurement laws and University policies on contract actions.
  3. Develop and administer methods, strategies, and procedures for meeting program objectives, directing and overseeing daily staff activities.
  4. Direct the preparation of and review reports and records of activities to ensure progress toward contract administration.
  5. Monitor annual budgets and ensure expenditures are within budget allocation, assisting with budget preparation.
  6. Ensure compliance with various reporting requirements, including state mandate reporting on contract actions.
  7. Analyze trends within assigned areas, maintaining expert awareness of program information and change needs.
  8. Formulate, implement, and maintain policies and procedures concerning contract administration.
  9. Supervise assigned staff in the performance of duties.
Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of directly related experience. The department is willing to accept experience in lieu of education.
