Job Overview: The Behavioral Support Technician delivers direct client services under the guidance of a BCBA or BCBA-D. This role primarily focuses on the execution of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.

Experience:
No minimum experience is mandated.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly preferred (Psychology, Education, ABA, Behavioral Health, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, etc.)
- Experience in executing behavioral assessment and treatment programs for children with developmental challenges.
- Understanding of normal and atypical growth and development across various age groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Certification Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Completion of the Marcus Crisis Prevention Program within 90 days of hire.
- RBT credential within 60 days of hire.
- CITI certification within 3 months.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to provide, assess, interpret, and communicate client-specific data in accordance with treatment protocols.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must successfully pass the Registered Behavior Technician exam, the Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP) post-test, and role-playing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct client care utilizing applied behavior analysis protocols under the supervision of a BCBA or BCBA-D.
- Communicate case-related activities with supervisors through written and verbal means.

- Accurately gather behavior data during direct observations using established data collection systems.
- Assist in monitoring (e.g., data collection and entry) and adjusting routine behavioral assessments and protocols.
- Employ safe and appropriate handling, management, and guidance procedures when working with clients.
- Complete daily assignments (e.g., data entry, document preparation, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, etc.).
- Attend team supervision meetings and mandatory training sessions.
