Role Responsibilities: As a Behavior Technician, you will undergo a training program established by our clinical team, preparing you to achieve Registered Behavior Technician certification. Upon successful completion of the exam, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing skill acquisition and behavior intervention strategies as directed by a supervising BCBA.
  • Accurately collecting data for all treatment plans and behavior programs for BCBA analysis.
  • Providing direct care while regularly consulting with the BCBA for guidance and supervision.
  • Modifying interventions as instructed by the supervising BCBA when necessary.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of each intervention and plan for clients on your caseload.
  • Ensuring compliance with RBT credentialing by completing the RBT Competency Assessment annually.
  • Tracking RBT supervision hours to meet internal and external compliance standards.
  • Renewing RBT Competency Assessment and Annual Renewal form as per BACB requirements, adhering to the BACB Ethical Standards for RBT.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent may be considered based on experience.
  • Willingness to obtain a valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate from the BACB.
  • Must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment background screening process.
