About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will play a critical role in developing and implementing customized treatment plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify the needs of individuals served
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that deliver real results and exceed expectations
  • Provide ongoing communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and guardians to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans
  • Conduct home visits and observations to ensure program plans are effective and followed
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings to ensure open communication of individual progress
  • Complete monthly and quarterly progress notes and attend meetings to discuss individual progress
  • Conduct training and in-service training to ensure staff and team members are competent in program plan implementation
  • Provide follow-up interviews and home visits to support individual needs
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing policies, procedures, and issues related to individuals served
  • Maintain effective record keeping to ensure information is readily available to interested parties
  • Act as liaison with the public and mental health community to support individual development goals
  • Assist in developing procedures for training materials to enhance programs for individuals and ensure program operations are in compliance with established guidelines
  • Continued education on behaviorally based interventions and techniques to stay competitive in the field
Qualifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Specialized training and/or experience in basic applied behavior principles, including understanding of plan implementation, data collection, behavior interventions, and risk identification
  • Two years' experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Documented completion of 10 hours of annual training related to behavior supports
