· Works closely with vendors and team members to promote and clarify benefits.
· Manages and oversees matters related to COVID-19 cases in California, coordinating with payroll to guarantee timely sick pay for team members.
· Proactively addresses and resolves issues concerning health and welfare plans, eligibility, life events, enrollment, and systems.
· Acts as the primary contact for inquiries regarding benefits, providing clear and comprehensive communication to team members.

· Responds to and guides inquiries from team members and managers regarding plan details, benefits enrollment, status changes, life events, and general questions.
· Conducts quality assessments of benefits-related data and implements necessary adjustments.
· Provides support for the administration of the 401(k) plan, non-qualified plan, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
Dynamic Approach: We act with urgency and enthusiasm while paying attention to detail
· Develops and manages the benefits communication strategy, collaborating with the Communications Team to ensure accuracy and relevance.
· Partners with vendors and communication teams to maintain a cohesive and strategic approach to ongoing benefits communication throughout the year.
· Organizes and facilitates open enrollment sessions and orientation meetings for new hires regarding benefits.
Engagement: We entertain our guests, connect authentically, and foster a positive atmosphere
· Identifies, implements, and oversees employee perks.
· Responsible for updating all plan documents, reference materials, and summaries in collaboration with vendors.
· Executes responsibilities in accordance with established policies and procedures, safeguarding highly confidential employee information.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
This role reports to the Benefits Manager and interacts with team members, field management, senior management, and various departments within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Experience and Skills
- One to two years of experience in Human Resources and/or benefits administration.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional organizational and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and successful execution of plans.
- Proactive individual who sets ambitious goals and consistently meets challenges.
· Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills, encompassing verbal, non-verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
· Understanding of HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, and COBRA regulations.
· Capacity to adjust to changing priorities effectively.
· Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries and emails efficiently.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
