Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Support Specialist to join our team at Acro Service Corp. As a key member of our Learning and Development department, you will play a critical role in the creation and upkeep of our skills-based programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate skills-based program revamps with the Division Manager, involving diverse administrative operations.
  • Conduct research and analytical studies on various programs and issues.
  • Perform detailed fact gathering, data compilation, and report writing on budgets, organizations, workforce management, operations, and administrative systems.
  • Conduct analysis to improve process efficiencies and workflow, simplify procedures, and implement cost reductions.
  • Prepare and present verbal and written reports, including conclusions and recommendations for solutions to processes and procedures.
  • Represent Learning and Development leadership at meetings as requested.
  • Review memoranda, reports, and similar material for summarizing and making recommendations concerning same.
  • Create handbooks and material relating to the skills-based program creation and updates.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of the principles and methods of public administration.
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles and methods of data gathering and compilation.
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports, memoranda, directives, letters, technical data sheets, etc.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive plans from general supervision and with only general direction.
  • Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to meet the public and discuss problems and complaints tactfully, courteously, and effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge or experience in the Utility field, preferably in Water and Wastewater.
  • Thorough knowledge of instructional design and assessment creation.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of professional experience in a learning environment, training and development, business administration, program management, or organizational development professional.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a learning environment, training and development, business administration, program management, or organizational development professional.
