Position Overview:

Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Dining Room Attendant is to ensure that guests are welcomed to a clean and well-prepared dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, dining areas, and side service zones.
  2. Prepare and restock the service station for shifts and closing procedures.
  3. Engage with guests promptly for services such as bread and beverage refills, adhering to established service standards.
  4. Inspect high chairs and booster seats for cleanliness and safety.
  5. Manage waste disposal and perform routine cleaning of the restaurant and bar floors.
  6. Prepare beverages, including coffee and iced tea, during service hours.
  7. Assist guests by clearing tables and replenishing drinks as needed.
  8. Keep supervisors informed of any significant issues or concerns that arise.
  9. Clear used dishes from service areas and ensure they are placed in the appropriate washing area.
  10. Separate linens from service trays and place them in designated bags.
  11. Perform initial clearing of tables by disposing of leftover food items properly.
  12. Rearrange tables to accommodate special events or larger groups.
  13. Support servers in food presentation and plate garnishing as required.
  14. Assist with order preparation and delivery as needed.
  15. Conduct thorough cleaning of carpets, floors, walls, cabinets, and food storage areas.
  16. Maintain ice supplies in service areas.

Additional Duties:

Adhere to all established policies and procedures, including those outlined in the employee handbook. The restaurant operates continuously, and staff may be required to adjust their schedules to meet business needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and transport heavy items.
  • Capability to frequently bend and stoop.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
