Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Marmon Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing multiple distributors within a region and achieving the region's financial and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the distribution sales team to prepare revenue objectives and goals for the assigned territories.
  • Travel with distributors to understand market needs and utilize voice of customer, market mapping, and other marketing techniques to drive sales growth.
  • Evaluate and implement new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume and ensure compliance with all appropriate policies.
  • Provide leadership to the distributor sales team, motivating and encouraging sales team members to meet quotas.
  • Organize and oversee the schedules, territories, and performance of distributor sales managers/territory managers.
  • Design and recommend sales programs and set short and long-term sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Maintain relationships with relevant trade associations to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Resolve customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Act as a company representative at trade meetings or shows, promoting our products and services to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 50-75% travel required to cover the West Coast of the US and Western Canada.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire sales team members.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving business objectives.
