Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Regional Sales Executive will be tasked with crafting and implementing a strategy that ensures the business territory meets its financial objectives.

This role is pivotal to the success of The Heico Companies, contributing as part of a dedicated, reliable, and results-oriented sales team, both internal and external, focused on achieving consistent outcomes. The Regional Sales Executive will actively pursue customer growth and drive the expansion of our product range.

The ideal candidate thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced setting and is motivated to reach their highest potential. This position also emphasizes the importance of maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and increasing market presence. Close collaboration with various teams and business leaders will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and foster profitable revenue growth while enhancing market presence across the full range of industrial shredding products.
  • Identify and engage new clients through diverse communication methods, networking, and lead generation strategies.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the entire industrial shredder product line, effectively educating clients on features and benefits.
  • Utilize CRM software to document all interactions, ensuring sales data is precise and current, while providing regular activity reports.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to leverage sales opportunities effectively.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries to build and sustain reliable relationships.
  • Maintain expertise in competitive products and pricing strategies.
  • Evaluate potential partnerships that could enhance or fill gaps in our offerings.
  • Continuously update knowledge on new products and market trends.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles in all product management and decision-making processes.
  • Generate innovative ideas for cost reduction and sales enhancement.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train third-party sales representatives.
  • Analyze sales data and consumer trends to identify opportunities.
  • Participate in key industry trade shows as necessary.
  • Travel as required, maintaining direct engagement with customers to understand their equipment needs and promote our products.
  • Communicate regularly with the office, providing updates and maintaining a structured travel schedule.
  • Prepare necessary reports, including sales contact reports and forecasts, while documenting competitive activities in the territory.
  • Facilitate customer visits to The Heico Companies as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain knowledge of safety requirements.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • A degree in a relevant technical field or engineering, complemented by experience in marketing, product management, or sales within a manufacturing context.
Experience:

Proven track record in selling shredders and related processing systems.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Experience in selling shredders and complete processing systems is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in direct sales practices.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage a broad sales territory.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare cost estimates and sales presentations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel as required.
