Job Summary

The Guest Services Supervisor at the U S National Whitewater Center is responsible for leading a team of front-line staff in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves ensuring exceptional customer care, clear communication, and effective problem-solving. The successful candidate will have strong leadership, public speaking, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Guest Services department, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Train, coach, and supervise employees to maintain high communication standards and provide excellent guest service.
  • Lead frontline teams to maintain efficiency and productivity at Guest Service locations.
  • Stay up-to-date with activity policies and procedures and provide support as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, public speaking, and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on providing a positive guest experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions independently.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stand, lean, and kneel regularly.
  • Ability to work in shared spaces with other employees and customers.
