Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

UNC Charlotte Marriott is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise front office staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent results for our customers.
  • Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns.
  • Train, direct, and coach front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete check-in procedures for arriving guests and facilitate guest departure.
  • Courteously and accurately answer inquiries from potential guests and accept hotel reservations.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate level mathematical aptitude and knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to communicate information and hotel services to management and guests.
  • Supervision/management skills.
  • Ability to operate computer, calculator, and telephone keyboards.
