Job Summary:The Senior Neurology Account Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to drive sales growth and profitability in the neurology market. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare delivery system, including buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, and distribution models.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain superior clinical expertise with our brand(s) and disease state/conditions to effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals.
- Build and execute business plans for top markets within their geography.
- Develop deep knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, local and regional market trends, product, and competitor knowledge.
- Collaborate with key Eisai functional areas to drive outcomes that align to organizational objectives.
- Participate in industry-related congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (BA, BS or equivalent) required.
- Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, med device, or capital equipment sales required (Neurology and or infused product experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance & regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth and profitability, establishing strong trusted partnerships, leveraging market and customer insights, strategic and tactical planning.
- Ability to build strong, sustainable relationships internally and externally.
- Strategic thinker with strong business and clinical acumen skills.
- Ability to work independently executing against multiple strategic projects under tight timelines.
