Position Summary:
The Youth Employment Services (EYES) Educator plays a crucial role in leading and coordinating the educational and training initiatives within the EYES program. This position is responsible for delivering curriculum to middle and high school students, both in-person and online. The Educator will also collaborate with schools, referral sources, and advisory groups to ensure effective program implementation. Work hours will be determined based on school assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop a comprehensive program guide, including a timeline and project plan.
  2. Oversee the delivery of services to students from referral through program completion.
  3. Instruct students in pre-vocational skills, including career exploration and job readiness.
  4. Engage with referral sources and schools to facilitate program planning and execution.
  5. Conduct curriculum training and develop tailored lesson plans.
  6. Coordinate class schedules with partner schools and conduct initial site assessments.
  7. Lead classes at various locations, including schools and community partners.
  8. Maintain effective classroom management and control.
  9. Collaborate with the Manager of Youth Services to schedule additional support staff as needed.
  10. Assist in the establishment of community sites for summer programming.
  11. Compile and submit weekly and monthly progress reports for participants.
  12. Manage the monthly billing process with referral sources.
  13. Monitor and document performance metrics and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation, Sociology, Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in vocational rehabilitation or an educational role.
  • Experience in teaching or delivering career readiness programs to individuals with disabilities.

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
