Titans - Clubhouse is a Recovery Support clubhouse dedicated to assisting members aged 13-17 who are facing challenges related to substance use. We offer educational resources concerning substance use and associated issues, academic support, employment assistance, and activities that encourage holistic health while providing enjoyable alternatives to substance use. Our organization collaborates closely with judicial systems and probation services, and we also welcome clients who are not court-mandated for treatment.
Under general supervision, this role involves aiding individuals with daily living tasks either at their residence, in a non-residential daytime facility, or within a residential setting. Responsibilities include observing and documenting client behavior and incidents, as well as providing training in essential personal and social skills, basic academics, or vocational skills to individuals in various environments such as state schools, hospitals, juvenile detention centers, group homes, workshops, or supported employment settings. Additional tasks may include assisting with meal preparation, promoting group activities, providing transportation, and limited case management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Document client activities in ECR within 24 hours.
- Connect caregivers with community resources based on their specific needs.
- Compose timely progress notes that correlate directly with curriculum activities for each session.
- Identify unmet needs, evaluate available resources, and refer clients to appropriate services.
- Gather programmatic data (academic, assistance, behavior, surveys, etc.) and submit this information to the Program Manager on a monthly basis.
- Prepare nutritious meals for group members when in-person services are operational.
- Design engaging and innovative programs, workshops, activities, and field trips that support the development of clubhouse members.
- Transport clients using a 12-passenger van and engage in Clubhouse activities.
- Conduct activities both onsite and during offsite outings.
- Collaborate with clients to set goals and monitor their progress.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss member progress.
- Complete Carelogic notes for member activities.
- Input data into the Clubhouse portal for all member interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager.
Associate degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution OR One year of experience delivering social or direct care services to groups of individuals with special needs in a human services environment OR One year of experience in a lower-level Client Support Worker position (SSS010) or an equivalent role. Note: Some positions may necessitate a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families in crisis.
- Familiarity with community resources.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be capable of lifting 20 pounds.
- Requires extended periods of sitting and standing.
- Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
- Candidates must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random drug tests.
- Any combination of training and experience that would enable the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Note: This position does require a valid Georgia driver's license.
