Finance Manager, AWS Analytics Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our AWS Analytics Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for owning end-to-end finance support, including P&L management and planning for Analytics services. This role will also drive strategic new Analytics feature launches and process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead in financial planning, building complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance.
  • Owning an Analytics service end-to-end, and influencing business decisions that drive revenue and/or capital expenditures.
  • Support strategic new feature launches and ad-hoc requests, and assist in various requests from finance and business leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.
  • Partner with finance teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience, and 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business.
