Norfolk, Virginia, United States ADP Full time

ADP is seeking Client Support Specialists to assist with the Small Business Services payroll solution.

  • Are you eager to be part of a company that promotes career growth throughout your professional journey?
  • Do you wish to work with an organization recognized for its exceptional training and service standards that foster your success and ongoing development?
  • Are you in search of a welcoming workplace that values collaboration and inclusivity?

If this resonates with you, continue reading to explore this opportunity.

In this position, you will operate in a hybrid model (part-time in the office and part-time remotely) while acting as ADP's primary point of contact for addressing client challenges, which includes resolving issues, responding to inquiries, assisting clients, and training their personnel on ADP technology, among other responsibilities. You will uphold ADP's reputation for service excellence and client satisfaction.

Your daily responsibilities will remain consistent — your primary objective is to assist clients with employee counts ranging from 1 to 49. However, each day will present unique challenges as the inquiries you receive will differ, as will the solutions you provide. The variety of questions will keep your work engaging, and our top-tier training will equip you for success.

To excel in this role, you should be comfortable in a metrics-driven call center environment with a structured schedule. You possess the ability to build rapport with clients, establish trust, and demonstrate professionalism. Your communication, both verbal and written, is clear and easily understood by our clients, leading to high client satisfaction scores that you can take pride in. A fast-paced environment should not deter you, as we also foster a fun atmosphere. Here, you can cultivate a career while forming lasting friendships in a company that prioritizes inclusion.

As part of our strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, our CEO has joined the OneTen coalition to create one million jobs for Black Americans within ten years.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Assistance: You will support our clients in managing their operations using our solutions, which may involve troubleshooting payroll issues. This support may also require collaboration with various business units and teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Continuous Learning: You will consistently enhance your knowledge and skills regarding payroll, including compliance with federal and state regulations, standard operating procedures, administrative practices, and desktop support tools to maintain your ability to assist our clients. Organization: You will follow a daily schedule and organize your tasks to handle a high volume of incoming calls, with increased phone time during peak seasons.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role or as an HR/HRIS practitioner with relevant systems experience.
  • Availability to work overtime during peak periods.

A college degree is beneficial but not mandatory. More important is possessing the skills necessary for the role. Other acceptable experiences may include:
