We are seeking a skilled Field Support Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining telecommunications systems, including voice and data networks. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain telecommunications systems, including voice and data networks
• Plan and install network installations, including studying technical specifications and preparing installation schematics
• Inventory and prioritize network and equipment repairs
• Establish and maintain voice and data networks, including programming features, establishing interfaces and integrations, and activating remote access tools
• Verify service by testing and reprogramming circuits, equipment, and alarms, and identifying and correcting problems
• Document network configurations and programming
• Analyze network performance and prepare and present reports based on that analysis
• Maintain network by troubleshooting and repairing outages, testing network backup procedures, and updating documentation

Requirements:

• Cisco or Avaya phone system experience
