Job Title: Education Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The Education Support Specialist will work closely with a classroom teacher to plan and facilitate lessons throughout the school day. This role requires the ability to follow directions, maintain a professional demeanor, and collaborate with other staff members to ensure the success of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement lesson plans as outlined by the classroom teacher
  • Assist with implementing Individualized Service Plans with clients under the classroom teacher's direction
  • Coordinate with other service providers, staff, or families to encourage consistency among client families/caregivers and all providers
  • Complete all required documentation, including daily parent communication logs, behavioral data, daily notes, and monthly reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Develop program materials and ensure appropriate materials are available for assigned clients
  • Attend and participate in all scheduled staff meetings and trainings
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures and complete other tasks deemed necessary for the successful operation of the program
