Sales and Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our Sales Team at Apex Restaurant and Market Solutions.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand company offerings and client profiles
- Work with management and ownership to identify and target key companies
- Support cross-selling of additional services to existing clients
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in prospecting, cold calling, and closing new business
- Excellent influence and negotiation skills, strong executive presence, and business acumen
- Experience leveraging CRM software for sales tracking and report generation
- Strong time management skills, motivated, and self-disciplined
- Ability to travel within 125 miles of the St Louis territory (occasional overnight travel when appropriate)
