Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional [FT/PT] Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at Trusted Doctors, LLC. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy, patient-oriented, and efficient team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage patient appointment scheduling effectively.
  • Assist with basic patient care tasks, including organizing medical records to ensure all necessary information is available for healthcare providers.
  • Perform reception duties efficiently and courteously.
  • Enhance patient satisfaction and optimize provider time by scheduling appointments appropriately and managing the check-in process promptly.
  • Utilize various standard office equipment.
  • Collect copayments and outstanding patient balances.
  • Scan documents and file them into Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Gather, enter, and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical reception is required.
  • 1 year of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) is desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Proficient in using computers, practice management software, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Team-oriented, organized, and punctual with a stable work history.
