Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Program Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support services to individuals with developmental, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities, while promoting their independence and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Screen and evaluate new referrals for our programs, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for individuals and their families.
  2. Coordinate staffing for direct support services, ensuring that each individual receives the necessary support to thrive in their home environment.
  3. Develop and implement habilitation and health-related programs, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  4. Empower individuals to exercise their rights and make informed decisions about their lives.
  5. Connect individuals with community resources, services, and opportunities, promoting social engagement and inclusion.
  6. Ensure the development and maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.
  7. Collaborate with the Executive Director, Residential Services Director, and support staff to promote a culture of safety awareness and best practices.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring high-quality support services that meet the evolving needs of our individuals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A related bachelor's degree or equivalent level of training and professional experience.
  • At least two years of experience as a Direct Support Professional.
  • A valid Maine Driver's License, with a driving record that meets our organization's guidelines.
  • Experience working in IDD and mental health settings is an asset.
  • Certifications such as DSP, CRMA, and Mandt are preferred, but not required.
