Role:
Finance Team Lead

As the Finance Team Lead at LEAP, you will play a vital role within our finance department, ensuring the effective management of financial resources to support our mission.

This position involves overseeing critical projects within the Financial Department, delegating tasks, and offering guidance to a small team of finance professionals.

Strong communication and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to foster productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Core Tasks for the Finance Team Lead:

  • Oversee Accounts Receivable, including various income sources.
  • Reconcile monthly financial statements and investment reports.

  • Prepare financial statements for review by leadership.
  • Organize year-end financial documentation for audits.
  • Engage with industry groups to stay informed on financial standards and practices.

Position Profile:
  • Full-time, salaried position.
  • No direct reports, but opportunities for advancement may be available.
  • Standard Monday-Friday schedule with occasional evening or weekend commitments.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
  • Required: Associate's degree or higher in Business/Accounting (related experience considered).
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics.

Experience:
  • Required: At least 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Preferred: 5 or more years of accounting experience in a nonprofit setting.
