Key Responsibilities- Sell primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses
- Prospect for new customers and sell bundled services to new customers
- Develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within the assigned territory
- Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Place orders through order management software and work with Account Coordinators as needed
- Hand off customer service and non-sales related client inquiries to the Customer Service department
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
- Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets
