About the Role

Creative Financial Staffing is partnering with a leading global provider of specialized products to fill an Accounts Payable Specialist position in Wakefield, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately process invoices, ensuring proper allocation of account codes and verifying accuracy.
  • Manage non-purchase order invoices, facilitating approval processes within the department.
  • Proactively resolve invoice discrepancies and issues prior to payment processing.
  • Audit and review employee travel and expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Facilitate the setup of new suppliers and maintain supplier profiles, updating information as necessary.
  • Verify and manage all third-party banking information to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Reconcile third-party statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Generate weekly payment proposals, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Enter and reconcile all in-transit invoices at month-end to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Associates degree or experience equivalent.
  • Prior experience with an ERP system preferred but not required.
Compensation

$45,000 - $60,000
