Job Description

As a Corporate Controller at Michael Page, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the company's Accounting and Finance operations. Reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for leading a team of four individuals and driving the company's financial growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Manage and oversee the company's accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis focusing on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations to support the company's overall growth strategy.
  • Inventory and Cash Flow Management: Manage inventory and purchase forecasts, oversee cash flow management, and administer ERP and related IT systems.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures, implement controls to minimize risk in accounting transactions, and ensure compliance with bank and other financial partner requirements.
  • External Audits and Reporting: Coordinate with external auditors and supply necessary information for the annual audit, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with 2+ years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, and experience with inventory accounting.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector is a plus.
