Vice President of Advocacy

Arnold Ventures is a philanthropic organization dedicated to creating lasting impact through evidence-based policy solutions. We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our advocacy efforts in public finance policy. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of advising and managing consultants, lobbyists, and legislative advocacy strategies. They will be responsible for shaping and driving the federal advocacy strategy across our public finance portfolio, building and managing relationships with key bipartisan stakeholders and policymakers, and developing and managing advocacy grants and engagements aligned with our policy priorities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public finance policymaking, systems, and processes, including the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. They will be able to craft and execute high-impact federal advocacy campaign strategies, manage government relations strategies, and build and manage coalitions and strategic relationships with diverse groups and interests. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership, people management, and relationship building skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. We offer a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $320,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% paid employee premiums for medical, dental, vision, basic life, and short- and long-term disability insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 16 paid holidays, and a 9/80 schedule from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
