The Role

We're seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Capital Enterprise Operations team as a Director of Finance. This critical leadership role will play a key part in transforming our capital budgeting and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with our strategic priorities and vision.

The successful candidate will lead the reengineering of capital budget reporting processes, collaborating with key stakeholders to prioritize projects based on strategic impact, resource availability, and operational needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of financial frameworks and processes to drive organizational change and impact
  • Collaborating with operations owners to track capital budgets, forecast actuals, and analyze variances to ensure effective cost management
  • Implementing post-mortem analysis on completed projects, providing actionable insights and metrics to inform future capital investments
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability
  • Developing and implementing frameworks to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
  • Providing clear, concise financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities
What We Look For in a Candidate

We're seeking a highly experienced finance professional with a strong background in capital budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a strong emphasis on capital budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across multiple business units and functions
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial frameworks and processes that drive organizational change and impact
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Compensation

The starting salary for this role will be based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, and compensation will depend on each individual's qualifications.

Location-based pay ranges are as follows:

  • $128,310 - $171,080 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD
  • $135,060 - $180,080 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY
  • $141,820 - $189,090 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI
  • $148,570 - $198,090 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $128,310 - $198,090, based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
