Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising key functions including financial reporting, accounts payable, grant management, and capitalizing assets.
  • Collaborating with other departments to evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions, ensure adherence to financial policies, and provide strategic recommendations to support the utility's long-term sustainability and growth.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, or a closely related field.
  • Six years of project management, planning, or budget experience.
  • Two years of increasingly responsible supervisory or managerial experience.
  • A valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License or equivalent out-of-state driver's license.
Preferred Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Eight years of increasingly responsible experience in planning, supervising, and directing major accounting functions in a large organization.
  • At least four years of supervisory and project management experience.
