Director of Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance to oversee all finance, accounting, and reporting activities for Presbyterian Homes and Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial activities, including budget management, financial analysis, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Lead long-term financial planning and risk management initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on achieving results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common computer programs.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS' mission and operating philosophies.
